After the GMA3 SCANDALOUS co-host DEBACLE between T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach, the network wasted no time USHERING in a ‘REPLACEMENT’ as they figure out how to fire how to handle the situation.
For those that have not been following the story over the last few weeks, news about the alleged romance between GMA3 co-anchors T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach has been PLASTERED all over the blogs and social media
. Their rumored affair turned relationship became public via 65 photos published in the Daily Mail, and the news has only ballooned since then. Followers dug up social-media posts, reporters sorted through their half-marathon times and apartment-sales records, and all sorts of sources have surfaced to spread gossip about everything from other affairs to how things are shaking out behind the scenes at ABC.
Sources say the two are very much ‘still together’.
“Both T.J. and Amy are trying to keep a low profile and let the dust settle,” the source says. “It’s still unclear as to what, if any disciplinary action might be taken, but for now, both are laying low, and trying to move on with life.”
The new information comes the same week that multiple sources told ET that ABC is conducting a review to see if the pair violated any company policies, specifically the company’s morality clause.
In the MEANWHILE the show must go, no pun intended. The two have been PULLED from the morning show and Holmes has been ‘replaced’ with DeMarco Morgan and fans have become quite SMITTEN with the ‘Holmes Clone’ as some on social media have began to call him. BUT WHO IS HE?? Morgan, who just joined ABC News, will now step in to host the third hour of Good Morning America as producers scramble to figure out what the hell else to do.
Morgan once was a popular morning anchor in Los Angeles. But if you’re wondering why he looks so familiar, my theory is that it’s simply because he looks like a newer make and model of T.J. Holmes himself!
DeMarco has worked in journalism for more than 20 years but was hired by ABC News last month after serving as a CBS anchor with the local Santa Monica, California, station.
“I will say thank you to everyone behind the scenes,” he said during his final CBS broadcast in April. “Thank you to so many people who wake up in the middle of the night just to make sure that I look good. This has been a wonderful journey. … I was telling someone last night, ‘There was a little boy in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with a curl in the second grade who was watching the space shuttle Challenger explode, and he was watching Dan Rather and that’s when he was bitten by the broadcasting bug.’”
Fans seem to have taken a LIKING to Morgan already!
