If anybody knows me or knows anything about #THEGAMUTT, you KNOW we will ALWAYS celebrate the ICON, THE EMPRESS of POP, Janet Jackson!
The GROUNDBREAKING singer, songwriter, author, producer, actress turns 60 today and she is ON THE ROAD still KILLING IT onstage as if she just came onto the SCENE and not missing a BEAT, I might add!
SIXTY and STILL selling out ARENAS– still hitting that CHOREO- STILL IN CONTROL!
Born in 1966 in Gary, Indiana, Jackson broke out with her 1986 album Control, featuring five top-10 hits, and peaked with 1989’s Rhythm Nation 1814, the only album with seven top-five Hot 100 singles. She’s earned 10 No. 1s, five Grammys, Rock Hall induction, and over 100 million records sold. Fans share glamorous photos, praise her choreography and influence on pop, while she recently honored Rhythm Nation at the Grammy Hall of Fame Gala and teased a fan treat this year.
