This should come as no huge surprise but,

Sanya Richards-Ross is leaving The Real Housewives of Atlanta after two seasons on the Bravo reality series.

Andy Cohen confirmed Richards-Ross’s exit on his SiriusXM show that aired on March 14. 

The track and field Olympic champion joined the show in Season 14 and held a peach through Season 15. Her exit comes amid a cast shakeup ahead of Season 16, which has also seen Kandi Burruss and Marlo Hampton leave the franchise.

The two seasons that Ross appeared on the show racked up some of the lowest ratings in the history of the franchise. We can not place the blame solely on Ross, the chemistry of the whole cast just wasn’t there. So it’s more like bad timing for Ross to join the cast more than anything coupled with the fact that her star power wasn’t enough to help an already sinking ship.

Sanya just recently welcomed a 2nd son, so we are sure her hands are full and she and her family will be just fine….off camera.
