But before that Chris has GRIPED about getting PASSED OVER for award show appearances and the LIKE due to his past ‘bad behavior’. But his STARDOM can not be DENIED!
Before 2024 there were only five acts in the history of Billboard who can boast having charted for at least 20 distinct and consecutive calendar years on the Hot 100. This month – thanks to his latest hits ‘Sensational‘ and ‘IDGAF‘ – Brown became the sixth.
Breezy joins the ranks of greats, Elton John, Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder, Madonna, and Elvis Presley. Chris–unlike his predecessors– is uniquely the first among artists to debut this century who has inclusion in the exclusive circle of STARS.
Making his first appearance in August 2005 with his breakout smash ‘Run It,’ the 34-year-old has since dropped 117 hits into the Hot 100 most recently via last year’s UBER hit, ‘Sensational‘ (found on his latest album ‘11:11‘).
Printed on the updated edition of the all-genre chart at #98, the entry also extends his reign as the most-decorated male singer in the 65-year history of the Hot 100.
