Another day, another RANT!! Nicki Minaj going in on Sza was not on my BINGO card!
Well it appears that Nicki Minaj in recent RANTS about Jay-Z and RocNation has not set her sights on Sza!
SZA and Nicki Minaj are involved in a heated exchange on social media as we speak. The dispute began with Minaj targeting Terrence “Punch” Henderson, the president of Top Dawg Entertainment (SZA’s label), and SZA’s former manager, accusing him of bullying her.
The situation escalated when SZA posted about Mercury retrograde and not taking the bait, which Minaj interpreted as a jab at her, according to Forbes. Minaj then launched a series of attacks on SZA, criticizing her appearance, music, and success, stating if SZA’s music “vanished right now the music business wouldn’t even miss you”, according to Billboard. SZA defended herself and her accomplishments, including her record-breaking album “SOS”, and distanced herself from the feud, tweeting “Lmao lemme go back to being calm shy and meek . Yall have blessed night !”.
While the exact reason for the feud remains unclear, it is speculated that an attempt by Nicki Minaj to collaborate with SZA in 2020 fell through when SZA was unavailable due to working on her album
