It seems as if Tyler Perry is ‘getting the band back together’? The multi-hyphenate DIRECTOR/WRITER extraordinaire seems to be working on the 3rd installment of his hit FRANCHISE ‘Why Did I Get Married?’

It appears to be in the BEGINNING phases, but he has TAGGED the original cast on a ROUGH DRAFT that he’s been working on!

The last installment came out in 2010 and centered around the interactions of four couples who undertake a week-long retreat to improve their relationships. Janet Jackson, Jill Scott, Tyler Perry and Tasha Smith lead the all-star cast and it seems as if Perry is writing for ALL of the returning cast members to return!

Fans have been CLAMORING to know what happened to the friend group, patiently waiting for another installment, but EVERYBODY involved has been BUSY with other projects…. but it seems that the WHEELS are in motion and we will get a CONCLUSION to the franchise!? FINGERS CROSSED!

Why Did I Get Married Too? grossed a total of $30.2 million in its opening weekend placing second behind Clash of the Titans.
