Canadian rapper Tory Lanez was sentenced to 10 years after he was found guilty of shooting rapper Megan Thee Stallion in the foot after the pair left a Los Angeles party in 2020.

The hearing began Monday and wrapped Tuesday, ending a high-profile case that saw Megan, 28, subjected to what prosecutors called “repeated and grotesque attacks” and cast a spotlight on the scrutiny Black women face when reporting abuse.

The five crew members on board the missing submersible Titan died in a “catastrophic implosion”, the US Coast Guard has confirmed.

Oceangate Expeditions CEO Stockton Rush, Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman, British billionaire Hamish Harding, and French adventurer Paul-Henri Nargeolet were on board the Titan when it lost communications with a support ship less than two hours into a 4,000m dive to the Titanic shipwreck on Sunday.

#BillCosby SUED by 9 more Nevada women alleging Sexual Assault! [details]

In a lawsuit filed in federal court in Nevada on Wednesday, nine more women have accused Bill Cosby of sexual assault.

Per CBS News, the women have accused the disgraced comedian of drugging and sexually assaulting them in Las Vegas, Reno, and Lake Tahoe homes, dressing rooms, and hotels in separate incidents between 1979 and 1992. The lawsuit brings the total number of women to accuse the 85-year-old Cosby Show star of rape or sexual harassment to over 60 women.

A White 84-year-old homeowner who shot Ralph Yarl , a Black teen in the head, after the 16-year-old went to the wrong home to pick up his siblings will face two felony charges, Clay County Prosecuting Attorney Zachary Thompson announced early Monday evening.

Andrew Lester will face charges of assault in the first degree and armed criminal action. Authorities have issued a warrant for his arrest and he’s not currently in custody, Thompson said.

Maryland senate STAFFER fired after video of him having sex with another man in Senate building leaks![NSFW VID]

BALTIMORE — An aide to a prominent Maryland senator has left his job following allegations that he participated in personal sexual misconduct inside a Senate building, according to WJZ’s media partner the Baltimore Banner.

The office of Sen. Ben Cardin said in a two-sentence statement on Saturday that “Aidan Maese-Czeropski is no longer employed by the U.S. Senate.”

“We will have no further comment on this personnel matter,” the statement said.

Maese-Czeropski parted ways with Cardin’s office a day after allegations of personal sexual misconduct began circulating that he was one of two men who were filmed having sex in the Hart Senate Office Building, the Baltimore Banner reported.

The Daily Caller, citing an anonymous source, named Maese-Czeropski as one of the two men, according to the Baltimore Banner.
