A spinoff of the 2023 Peacock series Queens Court, Kings Court will follow the trio as they look for love — this time among a pool of 21 eligible, smart, accomplished and beautiful single ladies.
Hosts Holly Robinson Peete and Rodney Peete guide the celebrity singles through emotional highs and eliminations… The actress and the former NFL quarterback have been married since 1995, so have plenty of wisdom (three decades’ worth!) when it comes to dating in the public eye. They also hosted Queens Court, which starred Tamar Braxton, Evelyn Lozada and Nivea.
Per Press Release:
Each episode will feature the kings taking the women out on “fun, adventurous dates” before choosing who gets another chance at love — and who goes home — at an elimination dinner party. In the end “after navigating a roller coaster of emotional highs, dramatic lows and tough eliminations,” each king must ultimately pick his queen.
The competition is going to be tough, with the queens fighting amongst themselves for their suitor’s attention. “If we all like the same guy, let the best bitch win!” one of the women says in the trailer.
Each of the kings is also walking into the experience with their own sets of baggage.
“Women have a hard time trusting me. I mean, look at this face. It’s mischievous,” admits Beckford, 54, later explaining, “I was the epitome of what a playboy is.”
Boozer, 43, doesn’t appear to struggle with the trust. He’s just hoping his match will see past his celebrity. “I have met so many women who will, like, recite my stats,” he says. “Like, ‘You averaged 21 points a game last year.’ But I want somebody who wants to get to know me.”
As for Bullard, 48, it’s a matter of finding someone to meet him “I’m 6’5, 280 lbs. I’m very intimidating to a lot of people,” he explains. “Until someone gets to know me, they realize, ‘Thaddeus is a pretty sweet guy.’ “
