Wonder Man star Yahya Abdul Mateen II says filming the nude scenes for the hit HBO series ‘The Watchmen’ was quite “liberating.”
The New Orleans native earned a 2020 Emmy award for outstanding supporting actor for his portrayal of the DC comics character Cal Abar/Doctor Manhattan, a god-like being who, after getting caught in a radioactive particle test, appears blue in the nude.

Sad news to report….
Legendary film and music video director Diane Martel has passed away.
Her family confirmed her death Martel died on Thursday, Sept. 18 following a breast cancer diagnosis. “Diane passed away peacefully at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital – surrounded by friends and family – after a long battle with breast cancer,” her family said in a statement via Rolling Stone.
Throughout her career, she worked with artists, directing iconic music videos that defined generations and became pop culture milestones.
Ciara paid tribute to Martel in an Instagram post on Friday, Sept. 19. “You believed in me and I believed in you! You will forever hold a special place in my heart and I am forever grateful for all the magic we’ve were able to make together,” she captioned a series of clips from her music videos.
“I know it was all God! Heaven has just gained an Angel. I love you so much @DianeMartel_ A.k.a. Miss D! Rest In Paradise ❤️.”
Most recently, Ciara, 39, worked with Martel on the “Ecstasy” music video, which was released in April.
Vanessa Bryant also honored the music video director, sharing a post from September 2021 on her Instagram Stories with a heart emoji and a broken heart emoji.
“Dinner with my Nani and @dianemartel_ or as my husband used to call her… D-Z Marteezy 😘❤️,” Bryant, 43, wrote. “It was so good to see you D.!!! You’re so talented. All your fav videos were created by “Bucky Chrome”. 🎥🥰”

Finally, Jamie Foxx is opening up about his medical emergency that left him fighting for his life back in 2023!
Many speculated but we were not certain until now.
Foxx, in his latest comedy special gets candid about the ‘medical emergency’ that almost killed him.
His “mystery illness” started with a headache.
On April 11, 2023, Foxx was hit with a bad headache and asked a friend for an aspirin. But before he was able to take it, he says he “went out.” He doesn’t remember the following 20 days, but Foxx says he was told by friends and family members that the first doctor he saw gave him a cortisone shot and sent him home. When his sister, Deidra Dixon, went to visit him she insisted he get further medical care because something didn’t seem right.
Dixon drove him to Piedmont Hospital, where another doctor speculated Foxx was having a brain bleed that led to a stroke. The doctor operated on Foxx in what the actor says was a near-death experience. “He may be able to make a full recovery, but it’s gonna be the worst year of his life,” Foxx tearfully recounts the doctor telling his sister.
