Rapper Boosie Badazz, whose real name is Torrence Hatch, was arrested by federal agents on Wednesday, June 14, according to TMZ. The Baton Rouge native was in court Wednesday for a gun charge that was dismissed, a spokesperson for the San Diego District Attorney’s Office reported.
However, the rapper was then arrested on another gun charge by Federal agents inside the courtroom soon after the first gun charge was dropped.
The charges are from a traffic stop —On May 6, 2023 — Boosie was in San Diego for a video shoot and concert performance when San Diego officers stop the vehicle he was riding in and allegedly discovered two guns inside vehicle,
