Porsha Williams and her now EX-husband were in COURT (via ZOOM) on yesterday and after months and months of BACK and FORTH–the two have FINALIZED their divorce! This chapter is ‘over’… for now, and here is how the SETTLEMENT BREAKS DOWN!
Simon has been ordered to pay 40k monthly in alimony. The JUDGE enforces the pre-nuptial agreement.
- Porsha gets to remain in the home for 36 months and Simon has to cover the cost of the mortgage and bills for the upkeep pf the home.
- The deed to the house must be transferred into a mutual trust with BOTH their names on the deed.
- Refinancing Clause: If Porsha can’t refinance the home under her own name in those three years, it gets sold.
- As part of the settlement, Porsha gets a one-time payment. The exact number hasn’t been disclosed yet.
- Porsha maintains ownership of the Rolls-Royce he bought and Simon has to pay her attorney fees.
Once the COURT DOCUMENTS are made PUBLIC, we will revisit this topic for SPECIFICS. But from the INITIAL breakdown, it appears that Porsha has gotten MOST of what she sought out to acquire.
