We are ELATED to report that ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ star, Karen Huger will be released from prison EARLY!!

Huger is set to be released from jail, more than six months after she began serving her sentence for a DUI conviction.

The time is roughly half of what she was to serve.

A jury found Huger guilty of driving under the influence in December 2024. Police arrested her in March of that year after she was involvied in a crash near Oaklyn Drive in Potomac.

In body-camera footage from the Montgomery County Department of Police, an officer explains that Huger’s Maserati crossed over the median and hit a pole before the Maserati crashed into a tree.

Huger told police that “nothing really” happened, stating that someone ran her off the road, although she didn’t remember the kind of vehicle involved. Huger stated that she was coming from a friend’s house and had a couple of beers.

Officers said they found a bottle of Stella Artois in the Maserati.

Prior to recording the Season 9 reunion, Huger entered a treatment program and was not physically present when her castmates shot the reunion. Instead, she appeared in pre-recorded segments, addressing the audience and cast.

A spokesman for Montgomery County Department of Correction and Rehabilitation said Huger’s release from Montgomery County Detention Center would take place on Sept. 2.
