Disney Princesses from different eras just shared the stage at Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration at Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, California.
Three iconic portrayals that expanded the fairy tale for Black girls allowing them to see themselves represented on screen–a sight to behold!
Anika Noni Rose, Brandy and Halle Bailey came together as Disney Princess royalty for a historic performance celebrating World Princess Week and the legacy of the beloved characters they brought to life. The filmed celebration is the largest gathering of Disney Princess talent ever. This one’s for the little girls seeing themselves in the magic today and for the grown women remembering what that feeling meant to them.
The Disney event included:

Halle Bailey: played the live-action Ariel in The Little Mermaid (2023).
