Jay-Z is such a considerate hubby. On his 1st sold-out night in London, he took time out to wish his lovely wife, Beyonce a happy 45th birthday!
On Friday, Sept. 4, while onstage at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London for his limited stadium run on the JAŸ-Z 30 Tour, celebrating the 30th anniversary of Reasonable Doubt and the 25th anniversary of The Blueprint, he also celebrated his wife.
During a brief intermission between songs, the 56-year-old rapper was heard asking production if they had “the shot” of the Grammy winner on the jumbotron.
Once the camera angle was set, fans inside the venue went wild as the “Crazy in Love” artist, 45, stood smiling in a box suite with friends, throwing up the Roc Nation sign with her hands.
Moments later, he began singing “Happy Birthday” as the crowd joined in on the celebratory song. But that wasn’t the only sweet surprise the artist and businessman had in store. As the crowd sang, a fireworks display began.
Beyoncé, who wore a cozy hoodie for the outing, also blew kisses to the crowd and waved to fans as Jay-Z sang to her.
The “Deja Vu” singer continued to smile while leaning against the suite’s railing and looking up at the sky as the fireworks continued.
“Oh my God,” she mouthed before he continued on with the show.
Her birthday also coincided with the 20th anniversary of her hit album B’Day. To celebrate the milestone, the singer released a deluxe edition of the album, which features hit songs like “Irreplaceable,” “Déjà Vu,” “Ring the Alarm” and “Upgrade U.”
