Ready to Love is headed to the Windy City, and OWN has unveiled the official trailer along with the singles joining its latest season.

Premiering October 2 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, Ready to Love: Chicago brings together Black singles in their 30s and 40s looking for relationships in one of the country’s largest cities. The new season marks the first time the long-running dating series has filmed in Chi-Town.

Thomas “Nephew Tommy” Miles returns as host, guiding the cast through the dating process as connections form and difficult decisions follow. This season’s group includes business owners and attorneys, with several other professionals entering the experience in hopes of meeting a compatible partner.

The trailer offers an early look at the cast getting acquainted as attraction begins to develop. As the singles spend more time together, questions surrounding family and future plans begin to influence which relationships have the potential to continue.

Chicago also brings something new to the franchise. For the first time in Ready to Love history, siblings will participate in the experiment together, giving two members of the same family an opportunity to pursue relationships alongside one another.

The series debuted on OWN in 2018 and has since followed singles in several cities as they navigate dating while determining which connections could lead to lasting relationships. Miles has remained a familiar presence throughout the show’s run.
