Drake has released an hourlong short film titled Fear of Missing Out (FOMO). The surrealist project features new music videos from his recent albums, roughly nine unreleased tracks, and an official 2027 world tour announcement.

Drake debuted “Fear of Missing Out” on Tuesday night, unveiling an hourlong string of music videos, new songs and scenes featuring a spate of guests including Sexyy Red, Winnie Harlow, Lena the Plug, Don Toliver and his mother, Sandi Graham.

The livestream, which Drake had previously described as a “not so short film,” indeed lived up to his promise as he rolled out clips set to songs from his recent albums “Maid of Honour” and “Habibti.” “FOMO” was directed by Theo Skudra, Liam Macrae, Jake Schreier, Zong Li and Glenn Michael, and was presented as a surrealist assortment of visuals that Drake had clearly captured throughout the year in his native Toronto and beyond.

It began with “Cheetah Print” alongside Sexyy Red before Drake hit the beach with Stunna Sandy for “Outside Tweaking,” giving way to an infomercial tutorial on how to make the drink “Panty Dropper.” During the film, Harlow starred in the video for “New Bestie” while Drake’s mom Sandi showed off her new “Icemom” tattoo in the clip for “True Bestie.”

Among the videos for previously released songs were “WNBA,” “Road Trips” and “Hoe Phase,” all songs included on his recent records. But he snuck in a few new tracks, namely his highly suspected remix of Ella Langley’s history-making hit “Choosin’ Texas.” Drake’s take on the tune was a slowed-down, underwater rendition that corralled Don Toliver and featured the chorus, “Drinkin’ yak all by myself / She’s from Texas I can tell.”

Drake also unveiled another new song with Toliver as well as one with Yeat. The film came to a conclusion with a full-circle moment as Drake stood in a set piece ripped straight from the video for “Hotline Bling,” and ended with a stagehand bringing out a stepladder for Drake to exit the set. After “FOMO” debuted, the YouTube stream was set to private.

Fans have long speculated if “Fear of Missing Out” would be an album, music video or even a tour. But this past weekend, Drake dropped a teaser on Instagram and described it as a “not so short film directed and scored by the family.”

On Monday, he elaborated on what exactly the project would be, explaining that it’s “self funded surrealism” and “a story about making the absolute most of it all in one summer.”

“Here’s some life advice before you watch,” he wrote in an Instagram post. “Nobody is coming to save you. You must use each day to decipher who you love and trust and march forward with them
I hope this serves as motivation to make that call, take that trip, drop that song, open that shop, see your parents, leave that relationship or stay in it forever, spend the bread, get some more etc.

“They keep saying our genre is dying,” he continued. “Videos don’t matter. Nobody is watching nobody is listening. I still care. As much as I did on the set of Best I Ever Had. So be kind and rewind.”

Drake dropped “Fear of Missing Out” on the back of an already stacked year, which included a trio of albums — “Iceman,” “Maid of Honour” and “Habibti” — that dropped as a surprise in May. The projects had a total of 43 songs and guest appearances from a slew of artists including Future, 21 Savage, Sexyy Red, Central Cee, PartyNextDoor and more.

He had been teasing “Iceman” as early as 2024, and started concretely previewing it in July 2025 with the livestream “Iceman Episode 1” on YouTube. He announced the three albums just after the conclusion of a fourth installment of the “Iceman” livestream series in May.
