Let’s keep singer/songwriter Lionel Richie lifted up in prayer!

Richie has been hospitalized once again after suffering another heart issue, TMZ reports. As a result, he has had to cancel his next three concerts with Earth, Wind & Fire.

Sources told the outlet that Richie is “currently hospitalized and receiving

treatment for atrial fibrillation, an irregular heartbeat.” They are treating him with AFib ablation, which is not considered a major procedure, according to TMZ, adding that the “minimally invasive treatment creates tiny scars in the heart to block faulty electrical signals and help restore a normal rhythm.”

The three shows that were canceled were scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 26, in San Francisco; Sept. 30, in Chicago; and Oct. 2, in Columbus, Ohio.

This is his third hospitalization in recent months, with the singer having checked himself into a St. Louis hospital after an August concert, where he went on to spend several days in the ICU due to cardiac issues. He was released and sent home after his three-day stay. Then, in June, he was rushed to the hospital after he had to sit down because he was feeling dizzy during a concert in St. Paul.

This comes after the singer was pictured out for the first time since his hospitalizations, attending a dinner party at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills alongside his girlfriend, Lisa Parigi, on Saturday, Sept. 19. Richie gave a thumbs-up as he was spotted.

Following news of his hospitalization, fans flocked to social media to send well wishes.

“He should take his time and have proper rest. I hope he recovers soon,” one person wrote.

“love his songs, wish he decides to retire or at least take a break from concerts… health matters first!,” another person expressed.

“Sending good energy and prayers his way. 🙏,” someone posted.

“Get your rest King.. We don’t need to see you struggle on tour. I wished I have seen you live,” a fan commented.
