NEW MUSIC: #MariahCarey ‘Type Dangerous’ [lyric video]

Mariah Carey is back to remind us of the FABULOUS DIVA that she is on a BRAG-A-DOCIOUS new track, ‘Type Dangerous’!

The ‘Like This’ chanteuse has just released the new song she’s been teasing online for several days — “Type Dangerous” — and it is indeed the lead single off her 16th studio album, which she also teased. The song samples the hip-hop classic “Eric B. Is President” by Eric B. & Rakim.

Carey said in a statement, “I’m so excited to finally be releasing ‘Type Dangerous’ into the world! I’ve been locked up in the studio for quite some time working my behind off on new music, and I’m thrilled for the unveiling of it to my fans, starting with ‘Type Dangerous!'”

The song begins with Carey saying, “To show my appreciation for your support, thank you, DJs,” which echoes what a female voice says in the beginning of the Eric B. & Rakim song.

Da Last Don, Master P’s solo album, was one of more than 20 LPs No Limit Records released in 1998. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, selling 495,000 copies in its first week.

It was TODAY in 1998 when Master P released his 7th studio album, ‘MP Da Last Don’!

It originally debuted at number 112 on the Billboard Top 200 chart as several stores sold the album before its official release, but then it peaked at number one on the Billboard Top 200 chart, selling 495,000 copies in the first official week. It gained mixed reviews.

Janet Jackson was a VISION of tenacity, elegance and class at this year’s ‘American Music Awards’! Jackson was HONORED with the Icon Award, a well deserved accolade!

She celebrated by making her first TV performance in seven years, during which she broke out “Someone to Call My Lover” and “All for You” onstage at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas. Backed by a live band, Jackson danced her way around the stage in a Vetements denim outfit while singing both songs, and backup dancers worked through flashy choreography nearby.

Montell was RULING the 90’s! ‘I Like’ dropped in 1996 from Jordan’s 2nd album ‘More…’ and was also featured on ‘The Nutty Professor’ soundtrack! It peaked at #28 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart!
