The HOT TOPICS of the week we’ve ALL been talking about!

5. FANS have MIXED REVIEWS to #DaBaby’s new Waffle restaurant!

Rapper Da Baby just opened a new recipe, and some CRITICS are calling FOUL on the prices and service!

DaBaby opened his No Knife Chicken & Waffles restaurant earlier in September in his hometown of Charlotte, N.C., and he’s already hearing some unappetizing feedback.

“None of our waffles are flour and water, waffle batter and water,” he said. “All of this is real homemade waffle batter. You also can’t finish our waffles. You know you’re eating real food.”

Baby continued to explain that he has a high standard when it comes to eating out at restaurants across the globe, and he hopes that quality is reflected in his new establishment.

“I don’t mind paying for quality and paying for what I want — real food. I’m big on that,” he added. “I buy my food fresh and I cook it fresh. We do the same thing there. Everything about the restaurant’s menu, I’m really big on my standard of food quality.”

For those who have issues with the pricing, DaBaby pointed them to another eatery. “Then Waffle House has something for you, but if you want an elevated dining experience,” he said, before apologizing to the popular chain.

The “Pop Dat Thang” rapper has responded to criticism of his menu prices — which range from $15 for plain waffles to $25 for waffles with toppings, and $45 for the signature Soulfood Cornbread Waffle that comes loaded with three sides but no chicken — during an interview with Queen City News’ Positively Charlotte on Wednesday (Sept. 9).

4. Phaedra Parks goes RED CARPET official with CT Tamburello!

It appears that Phaedra Parks has a new MAN in her life! Phaedra Parks and her The Traitors costar Chris “CT” Tamburello shocked the reality TV world when they revealed their romance — but rest assured, their relationship is legit. “It’s definitely the real deal, and they’re really smitten with each other,” a source exclusively shares with Us. “They became really close on The Traitors, but CT never thought he actually had a chance with Phaedra.”

Phaedra, 52, and CT, 46, met while filming season 2 of Peacock’s hit reality show in 2023. Although the pair grabbed the attention of viewers with their palpable chemistry, which featured Phaedra calling her costar “castle daddy,” their platonic relationship didn’t evolve until recently.

Interesting TIMING…. #RHOA new season just started filming…. let’s see how this ‘ROMANCE’ pans out.

3. RHOA season 18 films at Atlanta Black Gay Pride event!

The LADIES of RHOA are back filming and to kick off the new filming cycle, the girls all met up at a Black Gay Pride event in Atlanta!

2. Kroy “KJ” Biermann Jr., 15, faces seven felony charges, including aggravated child molestation and sexual battery!

A Georgia grand jury indicted Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann‘s son, Kroy “KJ” Biermann Jr., on seven felony counts on Thursday, Sept. 3.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum and retired NFL player’s 15-year-old son is facing charges of aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy, false imprisonment and three counts of sexual battery against a child under the age of 16, according to court records viewed by PEOPLE.

The indictment stems from an incident that allegedly occurred on April 23, 2026.

Kroy Jr. was arrested on Aug. 17 in Alpharetta, Ga., according to court documents previously obtained by PEOPLE. Authorities took him into custody at the Metro Regional Youth Detention Center in Atlanta. He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 9.

After Kroy Jr. was arrested, his mother issued a statement, telling Us Weekly, that the allegations are “nothing short of reckless and deeply troubling.”

“The allegations being made against my son are nothing short of reckless and deeply troubling. He categorically denies ever being involved with this woman or engaging in the conduct she has alleged,” Zolciak, 48, said.

“My son voluntarily took a polygraph examination regarding these allegations and passed. Additionally, an examination was conducted, and no DNA belonging to my son was found,” Zolciak said.

“False accusations can have devastating consequences not only for the person being accused, but also for genuine survivors of sexual assault and abuse. Every legitimate allegation deserves to be taken seriously and investigated based on the facts and evidence,” she continued. “At the same time, no one should be publicly condemned based solely on an accusation.”

“We remain confident that the facts and evidence will establish the truth, and we ask that people allow the proper process to take its course rather than spreading unproven allegations,” Zolciak concluded.

Unfortunately, there is more to this story that is even more disturbing.

On Friday, Sept. 11, the 15-year-old appeared in Georgia’s Fulton County Superior Court for a bond hearing regarding the seven felony charges he’s facing from a separate alleged sexual assault incident involving a female classmate. According to Page Six, Fulton County Deputy District Attorney Caitlin McGillicuddy revealed ahead of Judge Melynee Leftridge’s ruling that investigators discovered multiple videos on KJ’s cellphone showcasing the teen allegedly engaging in penetrative sex and using “predatory, derogatory” language with a family member under the age of 12.

“This would now mark the second time he has been charged with an offense of a sexual nature of a very serious kind which involves female victims,” McGillicuddy said in court, per the outlet.

The DA said in court that KJ has been under court supervision since October 2025 following the incident with his family member, according to Page Six.

  • Fulton County Judge Melynee Leftridge granted a $200,000 bond for 15-year-old Kroy Biermann Jr. following his indictment on seven felony counts.
  • The court ordered house arrest, GPS ankle monitoring, a total ban on social media and cell phone use, and prohibited any contact with the victim.
  1. Lindsay Clancy triple murder mistrial juror hold-out.

Following the Lindsay Clancy triple murder mistrial on September 4, 2026, a lone holdout juror triggered widespread national debate and scrutiny after blocking an 11-1 majority vote to find Clancy not guilty by reason of insanity.

Lindsay Clancy juror revealed what the lone holdout struggled to comprehend in a new interview.

Paula Devlin, who served on the jury and voted to find Clancy not guilty by lack of criminal responsibility, spoke to Gayle King on CBS Mornings on Friday, Sept. 11.

King asked Devlin what the holdout, who voted to find Clancy guilty of murder, could not “wrap his head around” during deliberations.

Devlin responded that the holdout, whom she described as a Black man in his 30s, had questions about how Clancy could take so many steps in an apparent suicide attempt while in a supposed state of psychosis.

“That she could do this one at a time, and then do all the steps that she did to go and commit suicide,” Devlin said.

Clancy doesn’t deny that she fatally strangled her children — Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months old — and then cut her wrists and jumped out of a second-story window.

But Clancy’s defense claims that she was suffering from postpartum psychosis at the time, arguing that she was not criminally responsible as a result.

The trial ended in a mistrial after jurors told Judge William Sullivan they were unable to reach a unanimous verdict.
